WP10 – Epidemiological platform

AP-HP/UVSQ/UPS will conduct a population-based national observational study, using National Health Data System (SNDS) including national health insurance data (national hospital database, causes of death, e.g.). Data are available from 2009. We will estimate the incidence, the prevalence and the mortality rates of sepsis according to age, gender, interventions… This study will be the very first to measure the social burden of sepsis in France (illness and epidemiological costs) to inform health care policy makers.
