Pierre Tissières is Professor of Pediatrics (Paris-Saclay University) and hospital practitioner, Head of Pediatrics ICU and Neonatal Medicine at the Bicêtre Hospital, AP-HP, Paris-Saclay University. Head of the “Host-pathogen interactions in human sepsis” team at the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Cell (CNRS, CEA, Paris-Saclay University) in Gif-sur-Yvette, which focuses on the mechanisms of the host response to bacterial endotoxins. Coordinator of the Pediatric Surviving Sepsis Campaign and numerous studies on the sepsis care management of children.
